Abdullatif Al Seif
Chairman of Investment Committee

Abdulatif Alseif has more than 20 years of investment and finance experience. He is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Managing Director at Sabeen Investment Co. Before that, he was the Chief Executive Officer and director at Raidah Investment Company. Previously, he held the position of Chief Investment Officer and Vice President at King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation, Head of Portfolio Management at Mohammed Alsubeaei & Sons Investment Co., Portfolio Manager at KIMC (US), Inc. and Head of Portfolio Management at Saudi Arabian Oil Co. He currently serves on the boards of several companies including Arabian Cement Company, Wisayah Global Investment Company, Al Nahdi Medical Company, STC Solutions, & The Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) Mr. Alseif received a graduate degree, an MBA, and an undergraduate degree from Boston University. He also holds CFA and CPA designations.

Abdulmalik Al Othaim
Member of Investment Committee

Abdulmalik Al Othaim is the Vice President of Investments at Al Othaim Holding Company, where he oversees the global and local investment activities of the group. While also acting as a member of the investment committee at Riva Investment Company - global investment vehicle- He has started his journey of experience in 2017 as a salesperson and customer care specialist at Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company. He then moved to Abdullah Al Othaim Holding Company as an investment analyst, where he conducted research on investment opportunities and evaluated performance. Furthermore, he joined Alpha Capital as an equity research analyst buy-side, In addition, he is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Urubah Investment Company, and the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hello for Information Systems Technology Company. He holds a Bachelor of science degree in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Yaser Abu Shaban
Member of Investment Committee

An independent consultant and senior advisor who was most recently Director of Mercer Financial Services Middle East Limited from 2016 to 2022. He currently serves on the Investment Committees of several Saudi groups and was appointed in 2022 as a non-executive Board member of Bidaya Finance.

He also previously held several senior positions as the Managing Director of YA Financial, the Executive Director of Asset Management at Emirates Investment Bank, and Head of Treasury Investments at the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank. Mr. Yaser was Vice President of Corporate Investments at SHUAA Capital and fund and Equity Manager at Mission Square in the United States.
Mr. Yasser has 24 years of experience managing investments and developing investment strategies in the Middle East and the United States.

Laurent Hopman
Member of Investment Committee

Mr. Laurent Hopman is the founding partner of 21North Advisors, an independent multi-family-office based in Bahrain. 21North Advisors provides institutional quality and bespoke portfolio management services for ultra-high-net-worth families. The core philosophy of 21North Advisors is to always be on the client’s side and avoid all conflicts of interest. Client fees are its only revenue stream.

Mr. Laurent Hopman was formerly part of the Investment Committee, co-responsible for Tactical Asset Allocation, overseeing USD 8 billion in hedge funds at Investcorp. Before Investcorp, Laurent Hopman managed listed and hedge fund investments at Sivest, a London-based single-family office. He was also at Morgan Stanley, trading equity derivatives, and a fixed income derivatives trader at UBS and Poseidon, a fixed income relative value hedge fund. Laurent Hopman started his career in Milan as an M&A Analyst with Calyon.
MBA Holder from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, with a dual major in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He is also a graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris (France). He has worked in Bahrain for 21 years.

Turki Al Dayel
Member of Investment Committee

Turki Al Dayel leverages over 16 years of expertise in Investment Banking and Private Equity within Saudi Arabia, spanning various sectors such as healthcare, food & beverages, oil & gas services, manufacturing, building & materials, petrochemicals, telecom, and biotechnology. Turki is the CEO of Ninety-One Capital in Saudi Arabia and Co-Head of the Middle East.

Previously, Turki held the esteemed position of Head of Private Equity and International Real Assets at Raidah Investments Company. He has also made significant contributions to renowned institutions, including Saudi Fransi Capital, The Abraaj Group, Riyad Capital, and JP Morgan, augmenting his industry knowledge and expanding his professional network.
Turki has also served on several boards and committees, such as the Board of Cenomi Centers, since 2022 and has been a founding board member of Saudi Bio since 2016. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee at SVC and a member of the investment committee of RIVA. He was previously on the Saudi Ceramics and Kudu food and beverage company board.
