Jamil Hallak is a global capital market expert with over 20 years of experience in top-tier institutions across Paris and London.

He started his career as a Portfolio Manager for Global Rates and Credit. His experience was focused on High Yield and Emerging Markets for Sovereign and corporates while extensively working on financing solutions during crises. In 2009, he was responsible for the Middle East and Africa trading business at the start of MENA debt capital growth while actively managing various situations during the Arab Spring, the Dubai crisis, and Government and Corporate restructurings. He worked in multiple banks such as Société Générale, BNP-Paribas, Standard Chartered, Deutsche Bank, and Credit Suisse in Paris and London. 2017 he served as Head of Investments at Riyad Bank in Riyadh. Since 2020, he has been the Chief Investment Officer of Al-Othaim Family Company, in charge of international investments in public and private markets. Jamil holds a master’s in economics and finance from Sorbonne University Paris and an Executive MBA from Cass Business School London. And is a native trilingual Arabic, English, and French speaker.
